Privacy Policy

At Zoryva X (“we”, “us”, or “the Service”), your privacy is foundational to everything we build. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have — in plain language, without legal jargon where we can help it.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: the email address, display name, and password (stored as a salted hash) you provide when you create an account.
Profile information: profile avatars, nicknames, watch preferences, and kid-mode settings you choose to add.
Watch activity: titles you view, episodes you start or finish, your My List, bookmarks, and watch history — used to remember your progress and personalize recommendations.
Usage data: approximate device type, browser, screen size, country-level region when available, and basic diagnostic information needed to keep the Service reliable. We do not intentionally collect precise location data.
Local storage: preferences like autoplay, subtitle language, volume, and player quality are stored locally in your browser so they persist between visits without being tied to a server profile.

2. How We Use Information

To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
To remember where you left off and resume playback across devices.
To personalize home rows, recommendations, and “Because you watched” suggestions.
To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
To communicate with you about your account, security alerts, and major product changes.
To analyze aggregated trends so we can improve performance and design.

3. What We Do Not Do

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We do not share your watch history with advertisers.
We do not use cross-site tracking pixels to follow you across the web.

4. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Watch history and bookmarks are retained until you delete them from your library or close your account. Some limited records may remain for a reasonable period where needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Aggregated, de-identified information may be retained after deletion.

5. Service Providers

We may use trusted infrastructure, authentication, database, analytics, and content delivery providers to operate the Service. They may process information only as needed to provide their services and are not authorized to use your account data for unrelated purposes. We do not publish provider credentials, private endpoints, or internal security details.

6. Your Rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from Settings. You may also request a full data export or account deletion by contacting our support team at [email protected].

7. Children’s Privacy

Zoryva X is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A supervised Kid Mode is available for households that want a curated, age-appropriate experience.

8. International Users

The Service is available globally. If you access the Service from the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under the GDPR or CCPA respectively, including the right to access, correct, port, or erase your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

1. Eligibility

2. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

Do not redistribute, rebroadcast, or commercially exploit content from the Service.
Do not attempt to circumvent playback protections, ads, or paywalls.
Do not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service.
Do not upload, post, or transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing material.
Do not interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the Service.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

The Service provides an interface for discovering and playing available media. All movies, shows, anime, names, trademarks, logos, artwork, and other materials belong to their respective owners. Zoryva X does not claim ownership of third-party content and does not grant rights to copy, download, redistribute, or publicly perform it. Use the Service only for personal, lawful, non-commercial viewing where permitted.

5. Availability

We work to keep the Service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific quality, or availability of any particular title or playback source. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service — or specific titles — at any time without notice, for example when content licensing expires.

6. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate or suspend access immediately if you breach these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

8. Reporting a Problem

Please report account, privacy, copyright, or safety concerns to [email protected]. Include enough information for us to investigate, but never send passwords, access tokens, payment credentials, or other secrets.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Zoryva X uses them sparingly to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used in aggregate.

1. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential cookies: required for login, playback security, and core features. These cannot be disabled.
Preference cookies: remember your language, theme, subtitle, and quality choices.
Optional measurement cookies: if enabled in a future release, these help us understand aggregated usage. They are not required for playback and can be declined where applicable.

2. Local Storage

In addition to cookies, the player stores settings — such as autoplay, audio language, sound boost, and subtitle style — in your browser’s local storage. When you are signed in, selected account preferences may also be synchronized so they are available across your devices.

3. Managing Cookies

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time from your browser settings or from the Zoryva X Settings page. Disabling essential cookies will sign you out and prevent playback.

4. Third-Party Services

Some features — such as trailer previews and social sharing — may load content from third-party services that set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies; please review those providers’ policies directly.
